lubeats Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Hi MaLd0n, I need your support to make my hackintosh laptop works better. I use macOS Mojave currently without problem with all devices. I replaced my wifi card for an original apple card with adapter one year ago aprox. Well, I installed Mojave before in their moment and maybe I had some problems but I could solve it and currently I use macOS Mojave 10.14.6. My process to install macOS in my laptop Lenovo Z70-80 is almost the same of everyone but to my way. I prepare the installer in a USB stick and another I put the clover bootloader. I tried macOS Catalina time ago in beta 1 and I had not problem to do it but with my process to install the last release I couldn't. I searched many info in internet and I found a web with your info about install Catalina in HP laptop with Broadwell processor. That web isn't Olaria or insanelymac, I forgot save the page but I downloaded a EFI file that you posted with this name efi-mbp-12aug19-11.zip. I tried your EFI folder to install Catalina and I do it successfully but with a special characteristic It install in recovery mode. Finally I could to install macOS Catalina 10.15.0 using some items from your config.plist file in that EFI Folder and applying in my own config.plist but with the same recovery mode install and I want to do it with the correct mode installation and fix my error in boot. It is a little blink glitch before to enter to login. In macOS Mojave I use my DSDT patched I don't know if is perfect but it works good. In Catalina I'm not use DSDT only the EFI folder that I replaced from the USB stick to HDD without install clover bootloader program. In summary, I need your help to patch my DSDT correctly or create a config.plist perfect to install macOS Catalina and above in future without problems with the correct mode installation. I attach my zip file created with run.app Send me Lubeatss-MacBook-Pro.zip

abenamu Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 I did that, one interesting and annoying thing in SMBIOS, the serial number SMBIOS generates does not change on About my mac. the config.plist edited on clover configurator is not showing up the changes on serial number, model on about my mac.. How is that possible?

Tazorro Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Hi MaLd0n, I installed Mojave perfectly worked with formatting in apfs, as I already had the intention to upgrade to Catalina. At the end of the download when I select the disk it says that it is not possible to install on this system. Tips? My config: Asus P6X58D-E, I7 930, 16Gb DDR3, RX 570 4GB spec.jpeg.zip

H4444 Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 Hey, what's up, I have Olarilla Mojave on my Lenovo 330S 15IKB and is working fine, right now the system update shows the Catalina upgrade, is it safe to upgrade to Catalina from Mojave on my Hackintosh? At the moment I can't use the App Store, for some reason it doesn't connect. Thanks in advance. I can't use the App Store/iCloud ... It looks like you resolved your issue. Can you suggest anything that I could try to get the App Store/iCloud working on Catalina? Thank you!
AlPaczino Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 @MaLd0n Hello MaLd0n I have components exactly like you. I used Clower, there was a sleep problem. Sometimes it freezes when switching off. Now I use OpenCore. It's better with sleep. Sometimes it freezes when switching off. I don't use DSDT, think it will help? Could you send me your DSDT and your config.plist? Thank you very much.
