man .. hack mac os x is not simple..

is 99% of reading, googling, persistency and 1% of luck u hardware be compatible..

if u don't want to read.. and make the things.. mac os x is not for u.. stay in windows.. or buy a mac.. and then is like windows

thanx for a very wonderful tutorial

i tried to do everything as it is written and my mobility 5470 works fine under (i manually added EDID for my Acer 5542 display) but there`s no QE/CI anything i try to do.

Also I saw your configuration

does really 5470 works fine in 10.7.5? (i got the same) and can you give me ATI kexts to see would it work and what I did wrong?

i only found RadeonX.kext in your OS X files, do you think i really need it?

Here is what i have in kextstat, seems like all needed kexts are loaded. So what is wrong there is still no QE/CI, any ideas?

I have add AtiFramebuffer, works with Eulemur using native resolution of internal display and VGA works fine, I have no way to check how HDMI works, but I mostly don`t need it to work

System see Graphics as ATI Mobility 5470 HD 512 MB

Still have no idea why QE/CI not working. I checked the DeviceIDVendorID in Info.plist of ATIRadeonX3000.kext, and they are there.

Maybe is version 7.1.8 of ATI kexts not what I need for 10.7.5 and there are something new?

When I delete this flags start normally but when I don't delete this flags stuck

i'm sure that frame buffer u talk is not the right one for that card.. and one more thing .. are u sure that is the only card in the note ?

Desculpem a pergunta, ando nisto a pouco tempo ^^ mas a kext AMDRadeonAccelerator é global para todas as ati? eu tenho a 5470 512mb tenho andado e tentar por a grafica a dar, so que ainda nao consegui :\ e em todas as kexts da grafica que baixo nunca vem esse o AMDRadeonAccelerator '-'

I installed Mavericks and now I stuck with my graphics card

My graphics card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4530/4570 (devID 9553, vendorID, 1002).

I add the ID in AMD4600Controller.kext.

I choosed GraphicsEnabler=Yes and ATIConfig=Shrike in Chameleon Wizard (choosed follow this http://forge.voodooprojects.org/p/chameleon/source/tree/HEAD/trunk/i386/libsaio/ati.c). That was all config in my org.chameleon.Boot.plist.

And also used force EDID.

The problem is ,after the Apple boot Logo gone, my display screen turn it off. Also turn off the backlight of the screen. And I got a black screen.

Help me! Please!!!!

I had these problems with playback each program in full screen, for example xbmc, a lot of chopping, a lot of poor working and can not play in HD nothing. I can not let full hd or 720p video in full screen, or anything when I want to work in full screen mode comes to shredding and breaking and lines appear and the image quivering. Is there any solution for this? And yes, don't work transparency. Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite. Graphics is AMD Radeon HD 7730 1gb ddr5.
