Hi artur thanks for help but not work,this is for 10.5.8 am already full qi/ce on leopard with aty_unit.I am with 10.6.8 now end nothing method work for me,curently iam with aty_unit for full graphics end full vram 512mb ,but no qi/ce.2-3 days later to buy from my frend Nvidia 8600GTS end hope to work for me.

I'm stuck at macx_swapon SUCCESS on boot.

Boot seem identify the card and load with the framebuffer Ajy, have tried with other framebudders but is the same situacion...

I have a Pavilion DV6-3038ss and I have installed ML with Graphics enabler _= No

Works ok but on graphics says 3 Mb. I have a ATI Radeon 5650. 0x68c1. Because I'm newby on hack I don't understand the first post how to proceed to make the ati work. I have search a lot of pages and have made the steps of this web :

the kext are there already in system/library/extensions..

if u want a easy way.. i don't know.. if u want any trouble with config... buy a mac, and all u problems gone..

2. Where I find the kexts ? In http://Olarila.com/kexts/ I don't find for ML Ati 5650 for download.

I have used the kexts and proceed of

The system have 4 kexts. I have checked info.plist and the id of my card is in the file. With Chameleon I checked Graphics Enabler but without Ati Config, because I don't know.

Because I have a Radeon hd I have forced EDID and check permissions.

Result :

Video OK. Ati Mobility Radeon 5650 1024 Mb.

Problem :

Now when I reboot the laptop the battery icon have a X mark, and no webcam and no wifi.

Can you provide me some solution or what can I do?

Hello guys, I am new to the hackintosh world. I have successfully installed 10.8.2 on my laptop

Acer Aspire 7740g

Intel Core i5 430m

Ati Mobility Radeon hd5650 and intel hd graphics (edit)

4GB Ram

The only problem is that ML doesn`t seem to recognize my graphics cards and the resolution is limited to 1024x768. For the installation I used the iAtkos ML2 media with graphicsEnabler=Yes. The system info file is the following:

Bus: PCIe

PCIe Lane Width: x16

VRAM (Total): 3 MB

Vendor: ATI (0x1002)

Device ID: 0x68c1

Revision ID: 0x0000

Hi, I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850, at the moment I'm trying to install iAtkos ML2, but the Graphics Acceleration doesn't wont to work (I inferred it when I open Mission Control or Launchpad or Notification center, they go very slowly, do you know how can I be sure if Acceleration doesn't work?).

The strange thing is that my card seems to be supported by graphics kext, Vendor ID: 1002 Dev ID: 68a1

I try with all your guide and with all Framebuffer (default is Nomascus), but nothing, black display, only some of them give me a four screen scrambled desktop (Do you understand?)

At the begin of boot it recognize my card but it says "Cypress" Ati Mobility radeon HD 5850, but according with wikipedia

it is a Juniper, infact in AMDRadeonAccelerator.kext my Dev and vendor ID are under Juniper.

u dev id must be in ati5000controller and amdradeonaccelerator (Juniper) must be the right one.. but u can try insert in the other familly...

can be also a boot loader problem... the card not well identify...

I've try all AtiConfig including Orangutan, but nothing.

I also added ID under Cypress in AMDRadeonAccelarator kext (but I didn't delete from juniper, i have both with ID)

I don't know if is a bootloader problem, because at the begin it recognized my card and also Dev and Vendor ID but however I try to use clover and let you know.

P.S. Do you know if I need ATY_Init?

u use one familly or other.. u can't use both...

about aty_ini must test it.. some people use ...

maybe also a problem of edid...

post a shot of the garbage screen / u graphics problems

I able to use this four desktop display and also seems that grapahics accelerator is enabled! I obtained this with Eulemur framebuffer and something similar with Uakari and Hoolock.
