Hi, I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850, at the moment I'm trying to install iAtkos ML2, but the Graphics Acceleration doesn't wont to work (I inferred it when I open Mission Control or Launchpad or Notification center, they go very slowly, do you know how can I be sure if Acceleration doesn't work?).

The strange thing is that my card seems to be supported by graphics kext, Vendor ID: 1002 Dev ID: 68a1

I try with all your guide and with all Framebuffer (default is Nomascus), but nothing, black display, only some of them give me a four screen scrambled desktop (Do you understand?)

At the begin of boot it recognize my card but it says "Cypress" Ati Mobility radeon HD 5850, but according with wikipedia

it is a Juniper, infact in AMDRadeonAccelerator.kext my Dev and vendor ID are under Juniper.

Did you have any suggest? Please!

u dev id must be in ati5000controller and amdradeonaccelerator (Juniper) must be the right one.. but u can try insert in the other familly...

can be also a boot loader problem... the card not well identify...

have u try clover ?

I've try all AtiConfig including Orangutan, but nothing.

I also added ID under Cypress in AMDRadeonAccelarator kext (but I didn't delete from juniper, i have both with ID)

I don't know if is a bootloader problem, because at the begin it recognized my card and also Dev and Vendor ID but however I try to use clover and let you know.

P.S. Do you know if I need ATY_Init?

u use one familly or other.. u can't use both...

about aty_ini must test it.. some people use ...

maybe also a problem of edid...

post a shot of the garbage screen / u graphics problems

Ok I add only under Cypress but no difference

Is this the shot that you mean?

I able to use this four desktop display and also seems that grapahics accelerator is enabled! I obtained this with Eulemur framebuffer and something similar with Uakari and Hoolock.

I have tried every ways to boot Mac OS with ATI Card, but i cant. The OS always starts with HD 4000 64Mb. I copied and edit all kext but ATI card did not work, but Mac OS can still recognize ATI Radeon HD 7670M and HD 4000. Can you please help me? If i copy kext or edit boot chameleon for HD 4000, i will get a black screen. Otherwise, only kext ATI Acceleration is loaded, even i edit all ID. I notice that the name in ATI Acceleration is Lombok, but it should be Pondweed???? So weird....

My Mac can boot without any command and fast and stable with HD 4000 but only 64MB, if i add any string or copy files kexts which are given in the guide, Mac stops working Do you know how to adjust the Vram of Hd 4000, i use on laptop Dell with i7 3612qm. Thanks

In addition, when i check kextstat, i notice what ATISupport, ATI7000Controller and ATIAcceleration are loaded, but i cant see ATIframebuffer Just wonder why i cant use ATI in liu of HD 4000 and my card is ATI HD 7670M, the ATI6000controller should be loaded, instead of ATI7000Controller
