Hi

I followed the procedure and even after putting in all the IDs of my ACL662 sound card and it didn't work.

I'm using Big Sur 11.3.1

Would anyone have any other suggestions?

Have you copied the kext to its folder in EFI and added in the plist in boot-arg     alcid = 7     ?

I copied the file to VoodooHDA.kext the Kexts folder

According to the model of my xxx board I tested the parameters in the ACLID 5,7,11,12,13,15,16,17,18 and 66

Even with all these tests the problem persists,

I'm sending the RunME result in case someone needs to analyze some other details

Why VoodooHDA kext ? You use AppleAlc.kext, in clover/ kext /other

Add to boot argument alcid=5 save, reboot test, alcid=7 save, reboot, test...........

The file was nominated by another member here at the Forum, but the AppleAlc.kext file is mentioned.

I changed the field to the IDs that I mentioned earlier and it didn't work.

Is there any other ID or anything else that I can try to do to activate the SOM?

Hi everyone! Im new here, but I´m with hackintosh since Mavericks. I have good skills with chimera and clover. This is my first time with OpenCore. My Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 (with AMD FX3850) past away 2 weeks ago, and I bought an Asus B450M-A II, with AMD Ryzen 2200g (And my ATI HD7770 from the old one). I´ve installed Big Sur 11.4 with no issues. Everything is working even better than before (Clover), but I have Audio issues that I can´t solve by my own.

I have ALC887, and I´ve tested every layout, but audio keeps cracking and poping in all applications except web browsers (chrome, firefox, safari). It shows every connectors, and all of them works, but always cracking.

Now if I move the cursor, sound is perfect, and when I stop moving it cracking and poping again.

I´ve searched for two days, and no one tells anything about that.

Any thoughts?
