Could someone help me with alc662 audio? My motherboard is a TA-MBB75 and whenever I tried to make a hackintosh I had problems with audio, sometimes network and video, but the audio was always off. There was an old snow leopard image that worked 100% but I would now like to use newer OSs.

Hi! I've tried this tutorial and other ones, but I still facing issues on my ALC892 with Big Sur. HDMI audio is OK, but the onboard audio is not recognized. I've tried all of layout-id, but no success.

Configs:

Motherboard: Killsre X99

CPU: Xeon E5 2678v3

GPU: RX 470 4GB

Audio: ALC892

Yes sir, both updated.

Lilu on 1.5.1

AppleALC on 1.5.8

Looking at AppleALC changelog, I found it

• Added C610/X99 Audio Controller r1 support by masking to 8ca0
• Added C610/X99 Audio Controller r2 support by masking to 8ca0

What should be mask to 8ca0?

Abri mão do áudio HDMI e passei a usar o VoodooHDA

Hi, I follow the guide and it show up internal speakers and microphone in Sound, but my mackintosh still no sound and only work with headphone.

I followed the procedure and even after putting in all the IDs of my ACL662 sound card and it didn't work.

I'm using Big Sur 11.3.1

Would anyone have any other suggestions?

Have you copied the kext to its folder in EFI and added in the plist in boot-arg     alcid = 7     ?

I copied the file to VoodooHDA.kext the Kexts folder

According to the model of my xxx board I tested the parameters in the ACLID 5,7,11,12,13,15,16,17,18 and 66

Even with all these tests the problem persists,

I'm sending the RunME result in case someone needs to analyze some other details
