All USB ports freeze randomly on Mojave

[ref]MaLd0n[/ref], I'm using your Clover folder. Everything is working fine. Sometimes my audio patches not loading perfectly, because I don't have sound, but a reboot solves this problem. And my usb freezing. I'm using my computer, doing my things and suddenly my mouse and keyboard just freezing, I can't move the cursor. It doesn't matter that I unplug, then plug in these devices again, it won't work, till I restart my computer. And its true for every USB device. My pendrive will freeze too.

If I use Windows 10, everything is just fine and perfect. I don't know what to do now...

1- Replace Full Clover Folder

2- Install Clover again with correct options

3- Reboot

4- Extract new IOREG

tthdm. Did you solve random USB freeze problem?

I have exactly the same random symptoms.

After days of investigation, I discovered that this rare behavior was caused by my faulty Intel i7 8700K

I needed to replace it with RMA ... and the magic is perfect now!

Amazed to read this post...

I also have a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus mobo, Intel Core i7-9700k and run Mojave. And I have the exact same random usb freeze. (for a moment I thought me and you were the same person LOL)

For me it was rare and only happened after leaving my computer on for hours while not using it. But it just got worse since I'm using a usb Novation Launchpad MINI with Ableton Live. Now it freezes after 15 minutes.

Did you ever solve this problem? Do you know it's solved with newer Clover and/or newer macOS?

(I hesitate to update my hackintosh because I can't open my old music projects running 32bit plugins....)
