Looking for DSDT patch tutorial

I am looking for a DSDT patching tutorial. I have read the guide of patching DSDT from RehabMan. I know the basic step of using Maciasl to patch the DSDT. And I want to learn more about it.

From Sir Maldon's installation guide, there is a list for DSDT patching.

And other like "PMCR", I can't find it in Maciasl.
