Hi there,

you helped me get my Catalina running around 9 months ago and it’s been fine up to yesterday, I had to remove one of my hard disks and replace for an ssd which I wanted to install separate windows to and I’ve managed to reset my bios to original settings.

would you mind helping with the bios settings which I’m sure it’s just this as this is the only thing that changed and only white circle with line through it is what I’m getting when booting from clover now.

motherboard is MSI B360M-PRO-VDH.

thank you.

marcus.

Hi,

I managed to get it back to normal again before I saw your reply.

Another question now though, I have clover boot loader running but I need to have just one Mac OS icon and one Windows 10 icon but I currently have the Mac OS icon running fine but I have two Windows icons that don't do anything and if I want to boot into Windows then I need to restart and hit F11 to get into bios boot list and select the Windows drive from there.

How can I have just the Mac OS and Windows 10 boot icons working on my clover boot screen?

Here is what I currently have.Archive.zip

edit, I have tried several times to edit the config.plist file with clover configurator and the only thing I’ve managed to get working from the GUI editing is hiding the unwanted icons and even the drop down list for selecting the drive partition when adding a custom entry shows the correct partitions in the drop down list but once selected comes up with “ - “ instead of showing the uuid or partition name.

if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

I installed Catalina a year ago successfully with this same hardware.

This is my BIOS:

I used this ISO image:

--BIG SUR Olarila--

MediaFire Link - https://tinyurl.com/y7c7dhp7 New Build 20C69

MD5 (Olarila BigSur 11.1.raw) = 9e6752229f6928a382d8899ec90e1dda

I checked the md5 hash and it has same string.

So, what should I do now with my flash drive containing Big Sur?

I will be a premium member after this. It is a must I think. :)

I've tried this tutorial:

then using this new ISO

--BIG SUR Olarila--

MediaFire Link - https://tinyurl.com/4r39tm4v New Build 20D64 Big Sur 11.2 with EFI folder for chipset series 300 and 400

then I got same problem while boot from flash drive.

Should I choose OpenCore installation?

Nice, thank you very much, I've booted my flash drive successfully after applying EFI folder for my HASWELL chipset from this link:

--CHIPSET SERIES 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 (NEHALEM / SANDY BRIDGE / IVY BRIDGE / HASWELL / BROADWELL)

https://tinyurl.com/y3qvuqbp

After formatting my hard drive with APFS and get ready to install, it says "Your Mac needs a firmware update in order to install to this volume."

What I need to do with my chipset patch?
