I still had a problem with "USB Accessory needs power" when plugging in my IPhone, but a youtube guide showed me how to fix it by removing the file USBInjectAll.kext. It worked!  Any problems with that method?

no. remove usbinjectall is a good idea

I have the Gigabyte Brix GB-BXI5H-5200 unit.  Currently I have completed Step 6 of this guide, and I do not have audio or Wifi at this time.

I'm not sure which EFI folder is correct to download because my Brix uses laptop RAM, but I tried both of the Broadwell ones and neither gave me audio.  I downloaded them, and then moved them from my Downloads folder into the /Volumes folder, creating /Volumes/EFI (which was not already there).

(Section 7a - Video Patch) My device has an Intel HD 4400, but I can't understand this part at all.  I just don't get what I'm supposed to do there.

(Section 7b - Embedded Controller Device) - I don't understand this section.  Can someone explain what any part of that means for me?

Any help is appreciated.

I want to share something with the forum about high sierra installation

My pc specs are quite towards the low end

intel corei3 4160 3.6 ghz

DDR3 ram 1600 Mhz 8 gb Dual channel

nvidia Graphics Card GT1030 2gb

2 TB of hard drive 7200 rpm

When i went to install High sierra 10.13.6 with the premade iso I was getting stuck at " Macos can not be installed on this computer..."

Then I downloaded 10.12.6 olarila and installed it, it went ok with minor problems like getting stuck at the Gigabyte motherboard page for inifinte, I resolved it by clearing CMOS manually and plug-out plug in of rams..

Then from 10.12.6 I flashed 10.13.6 high sierra app to upgrade, and it went fine. But before the installer restarts I did two things-- unchecked the nvidia web driver option from system variables and copied the contents of EFI partition into the EFI of Highsierra EFI.

But when I arrived in the new system 10.13.6 the version was showing 17G66.. I doubt that whether there is actually any version like that exists at all. However finally I downloaded a 2 Gb update from store and installed it and arrived at the version 10.13.6 (17G13035). Then installed nvidia web driver and also installed required kexts by Vietnam tool.

while performing the post install stuff (THE INSTALL WENT GREAT BTW)  I was told to use the RunMe app while troubleshooting a few things, and then THAT app told me to upload the zip file on my desktop. Where exactly do I upload that file?

Since Mojave is running so good and it updated to 14.6 can I safely upgrade to Catalina?
