My config is I7 3630QM Intel HD 4000 8gb ram ddr3 1600, video GT 730M 4 GB. Any solution? is stuck on configure device host.

the3rdknuckles Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 u need try, enable/disable csm in bios/uefi setup and take one shot I’ve tried the top 2 renaming both to my version and also patching both with no fix. And is CSM secure boot? If so that’s already off due to installing OS X.

thezemo Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Ok, I tried installing on a Dell optiplex 7060 i5-8500 (coffee lake) 8GB Ram, 500GB Sata SSD, Intel HD630 and I can't even boot into the installer. The computer just restarts. I used the 300series efi folder and still the computer just restarts. It happens too fast to see what is going on or what the error is.

Always have to use nv_disable=1 otherwise it will get stuck at the the boot. Any workaround to get it done work with the hackintosh. If it is not supported in high sierra is there any way to get it supported in sierra.

Please note, I've followed the instructions that are in this guide and sadly, I'm unable to boot into my MAC partition without some modifications. I have to use my USB to boot and select my "boot from MacOS" and I choose the config2.plst. I've tried simply copying the config to my EFI/CLOVER however that didn't help. I've replaced my EFI with "Olarila EFI folder" but no go. With modifying the boot options using O on CLOVER screen, adding the following flags to the boot args; "-v -no_compat_check nv_disable=1" and in the binaries patch options I've selected "Kernel PM, Panic No Kext Dump" and "AppleICPUPM Patch, AppleRTC Patch". lastly I changed my graphics inject FakeID to 0x12345678. That at least let me boot with minimal graphics..... Detects my Intel graphics as 5Mb and it's almost like it's a "recovery" or "minimalistc" screen My laptop is: ASUS ROG GL752VW Any further assistance would be greatly appreciated.
