mausandre Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 Does this guide requires a separate HDD or SSD drive? If not, If I can install macOS on the same drive as Windows using Windows, what should I do differently? Righ now I'm able to boot into Clover and run the option to install Olarila macOS, the verbose boot initiates but after that my computer just reboots and I'm back to Clover with the same option to install Olarila macOS. Maybe I'm dumb but I'm not being able to acces the archives on the USB Stick due to the way it is formated, so I couldn't provide any log information from Clover. Also, is there any known problem with my setup that may be causing any trouble? I'm very grateful for any possible help, I'm trying to setup a Hackintosh for almost a week with no success.

puna27_99 Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 [ref]MaLd0n[/ref], Hi... I am getting a little confused at the post installation stage when you advise to run the disablehibernate.command. When I try to do so it asks for password at the terminal window. What is the password if I may ask or how to bypass it?

0x00001111 Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 My motherboard have no usb2.0, I try others, not work. It get "applenvme assert failed" with boot argument nvme=-1, and auto reboot without nvme=-1.
mausandre Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 mausandre, ur processor need a fakecpuid Thanks for the reply Mald0n! Can you give me any tips on how to access the EFI partition to make those changes? I actually know how to make the changes. The problem is I've tried to mount the EFI on Windows with various methods but none of them gave me access to the folder, always saying I don't have permission to access it after is mounted. Is there any way to modify the config.plist before formatting the USB Stick to the mac format?

mausandre Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 mausandre, u can use O key in clover boot screen Wow, sorry for not noticing how to do that. Thanks for the help. Now I was able to input the fakecpuid 0x0306A0 that worked for the guy in this post https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9887 The post also suggests to use NullCPUPowerManagement.kext can I add this kext through Clover options, since I can't edit the files on Windows? Using that fakecpuid is giving this panic message in verbose https://imgur.com/l22y1Lq.

mausandre Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 edit ur config.plist with fakecpuid Thanks again Mald0n! I was finally able to edit the config.plist through windows and added the fakecpuid value to the file itself. I wasnt able to attach my config.plist file here, so this is a link to the file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_WjZAyK46aRUw-p8A_0mqTVD-_ZPH8dq/view?usp=sharing Here is the specific part I have inserted the fakecpuid: <key>AppleIntelCPUPM</key> <true/> <key>AppleRTC</key> <true/> <key>Debug</key> <false/> <key>DellSMBIOSPatch</key> <true/> <key>FakeCPUID</key> <string>0x0306A0</string> <key>KernelCpu</key> <true/> <key>KernelLapic</key> <true/> <key>KernelPm</key> <true/> <key>KernelXCPM</key> <false/> <key>KextsToPatch</key> <array> Now I'm getting a different error in verbose, one of the lines that caught my attention was: kernel[0]: WARNING: IOPlatformPluginUtil : getCPUIDInfo: this is an unknown CPU model 0x3c Here's a link to the verbose screen I'm talking about: https://imgur.com/s324g1p
