Hello,

I saw your tutorial and must say its well written. However i already had a freshly made USB install drive so I copied your EFI folder over to my USB install drive and used that to install. Everything installed on the first try! I went on to install the web drives for my GTX 1080 and I now have graphics acceleration.

Im using the Asrock Taichi X99. My question is seeing that i didn't use you raw image for the install, should I follow all the other steps for post-installation?

Also, though I have graphics acceleration, I cannot see the native resolution for my LG B9 4K TV.

I'm running High Sierra Build 10.13.6 (17G66).

Thanks

Hi MaLd0n

My Olarila Catalina install is running quite well so far and now booting fine from SSD, only thing I'm struggling with is the audio for my MSI B360 Pro-VDH onboard audio.

I have bluetooth audio running but I can't get any kexts to work for my 3 socket output for audio using a speaker.

May I ask which kext will work for this?

Many thanks.

Edit: forget that, just found it from this site, it was the voodooHDA kext that sorted it.

A bit unsure, but is that supposed to be "chipset series 100, 200, 300"?

Hi, I am trying to install High Sierra on my PC following the windows instructions on the first page, but I have an HD error during the installation and then it reboot automatically.

My PC:

Q9650 LGA775

Maximus II Formula P45

RAM 2x2Gb G.Skill Trident 1200MHz + 2x1Gb A-Data 800MHz

GPU NVidia GTS250 1Gb

SSD Corsair Force 120Gb

You can see the error down below:

Thanks, InjectNvidia works! But now I can't initialize the HD. I get this error with High Sierra:

It has happened even when I tried to install High Sierra through Clover, but it wasn't happening with Sierra.

Hi Same results. Installs well then correct (4K)  resolution not shown after restart. Graphics acceleration works too.

Do i have to patch the model to a "supported release" instead of the '17G66 High Sierra' release? I currently have version 387.10.10.10.40.135 installed.

Thanks

I installed Sierra but now i can't see the EFI partition for copying the Socket 775 "Olarila EFI folder".

Where can i find it?

[ref]luky53[/ref], just use USB 2 port on installer

I think it's important to say USB 2 only on installer. Because on my ASUS UX410 Laptop impossible to finish the install without this information ?
