I did the back up of my main SSD to another SSD with Carbon Copy Cloner . I will report how the update went.

This is how I run Pascal card in Mojave :D very happy with the outcome . This is exactly what I need.

I did this already and it's not working ... kinda anoying but ... I did it before on High Sierra and it works. I edit the copy of the file on my desktop and then replace it in the System folder... reboot and it's still Unknown

1) Open a Finder window, navigate to the System folder, and then to the Library folder inside. (Not the “Library” folder we visited in the Model name section).


2) Inside Library, go to PrivateFrameworks, and find AppleSystemInfo.framework

3) Inside this framework, navigate to /Versions/A/Resources/. Then find the folder for your system language. If yours is English, go to English.lproj.


4) Inside that folder, find the file AppleSystemInfo.strings. Copy the file, and paste one somewhere as a backup. Then paste another copy to your Desktop to edit. Do not try to edit the file in place, it will not work.

5) Right-click the copy on your Desktop and open it with your editor of choice use textmate https://macromates.com/

I swear I'm doing it right :D ... after editting the file on my desktop with TextWrangler.app and replacing it in the folder (aaand reboot) it still Unknown

I use english as a system language. What version of Mojave you are running ? People from tonycraposx86 report that this manipulation doesn't work anymore with 10.14.2

im on 10.14.2 an is working in mine as i showed the pic, also i never believe anything from tonycrap :D

only system logo has a different way of editing
