jcmrdc Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Hi guys! I have an issue here: I am following the tutorial but, when I get to the Console part, the system log returns an error when I press brightness up or down. It's not mapping the keys. Any ideas? Thank you for your time and help.

imran.dim Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Thank you very much. Your guide is very helpful and resolves the problem of brightness control on my laptop
EddieSjet Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 Will this guide include a script for the plot too? Also translated menu selections would be nice too.

josecar Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Hi, I came here because F1 and F2 are showing the level on the screen, the problem is that they are not really changing the brightness level at all. The max and minimum level are the same. The problem following this guide is there's no brightness slider like in my High Sierra Hackintosh laptop (see attached image). What should I do first? Thanks No brightness slider.png.zip

juanvascas Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Is it possible for you to take a look of why ACPI patch is not applying properly? I tried patching it with latest MaciASL and verified that ACPIDebug.kext loaded but I was not seeing any ACPIDebug output in the system log. Thanks. BIOS DSDT.aml.zip
