Did you replace the Data folder? Did you key in your CPU type in the .cfg file as instructed? You will need to go through it slowly. Good luck. iSn0wCrypt0 Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 I repeat, I followed all the steps to the letter I have repeated it 20 times .. always the same CPU error Everything is copied / pasted / and chewed thousands of times Could you check if my ssdt.aml is correct? 2 weeks ago everything went well and compile the file without problems .. But I had to restore from scratch and now I have this problem (because you said you would have to appear in IOreg) but it does not appear to me like you .. Then can you look at my ssdt? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1maE1v0BS4CYNZS2EQoEmtM-k6o01vb1k/view?usp=drivesdk *HP Notebook 15 bs527ns* Intel i5-7200U , 8 GB 2133 MHz DDR4, Intel HD Graphics 620 - 2048 MB *Asus F55VD* Intel i3-3110M , 8GB 1333MHz DDR3, Intel HD 4000 - 1536 MB
onemanosx Posted May 21, 2019 Author Posted May 21, 2019 I cant check if I don't know exactly what you did. Anyone can claim they followed instructions to the letter but without proof, you see. Anyway, ssdt looks good. So, as per my suggestion, using the existing files you had, you an easily create kext. Read post 2 of the guide. anibalin Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Hey guys. I got a 9700k. Do I need to do this procedure? (I already did, just want to know if its pointless). I read that 9900 was not necessary. Which models does not need this? Moreover, after all this, do I need to uncheck PluginType in clover? Thanks.

nasca Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Hi, everyone... After the procedure to resolve Unknown CPU I have in finder same result even if in other applications the CPU is shown... I have proceeded in this mode: Downloaded: curl -o ~/ssdtPRGen.sh https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Piker-Alpha/ssdtPRGen.sh/master/ssdtPRGen.sh Copy our modded downloaded DATA folder https://Olarila.com/forum/download/file.php?id=16110 and edit "User Defined.cfg" with: 'E5-2695 v3',120,1200,2300,3300,14,28 after in the terminal chmod +x ~/ssdtPRGen.sh again... sudo ~/ssdtPRGen.sh -p 'E5-2695 v3' -f 2300 -turbo 3300 cd ~/Desktop/CPUFriend-master/ResourceConverter Download CPUFriend master zip https://github.com/acidanthera/CPUFriend terminal: ./ResourceConverter.sh --acpi /Users/apple/Library/ssdtPRGen/SSDT.aml Combining CPUFriend data into Pike's SSDT and save the ssdt.aml and copy to Clover/acpi/patched Or NOT and... 2. Drag ssdt.aml from ~/Library/ssdtPRgen folder to terminal and Press Enter 3. Your CPUFriendDataProvider.kext will be generated and can be found at ~/Desktop/CPUFriend-master/ResourceConverter folder 4. Place both CPUFriendDataProvider.kext and CPUFriend.kext in clover/kext/others ./ResourceConverter.sh --kext /Users/apple/Library/ssdtPRGen/SSDT.aml and also sudo chmod -R 755 kextfile.kext sudo chown -R root:wheel kextfile.kext But the CPU in Finder (about this MAC) result unknown (sconosciuta in italian) Many thanks Nasca.
