1. I think you need to understand what HSxx and SSxx are by reading the quick response HERE

2. There is no "probably my two port type-c". You need to test all ports type A and type C using appropriate testing devices i.e you will need a reliable USB type 3 device or USB type C device and so on. Reading your motherboard documentations helps.

3. There is no "maybe my 3.0 unworking" on HSxx port.

3. It is also helpful for users to know their motherboard specifications e.g what type of USB chipset is in use. Only intel chipsets are fully supported.

4. Lastly, Hackintosh are not perfect Apple product.

Having said that, I have no issues detecting my USB type C and USB type A on my build. Hint: Use reliable detection device for testing.

so you mean that I have to test unused port with the proprly usb device? On a 2.0 port I have to connect 2.0 on 3.0 only 3.0 etc in IOREG?

what If I don't have an type-c device?

[ref]ruglau[/ref], Yes you should test ALL ports (as per the guide suggests) with proper device (as per the guide suggests). I think the answer is obvious that you will not be able to determine which ports are used by USB type C if you do not have the tools and possibly lose other ports due to the lack of test method.

[ref]ruglau[/ref],

reading through the guides many times helps to get through, if you do not have any type-c you can not properly activate them using fbpatcher helps with the activating the ports so you know what is working in the ioreg

[ref]ruglau[/ref], Your monitor needs to support DDC/CI for this app to work.

what happens if u connect device usb in usb3 ports?

Maldon, recapping: when I will test USB I have to use:

- one dispositive Type-c gen2 for test usb-c port.

- one dispositive 3.0 for test usb 3.0

- one dispositive 3.1 gen2 for test usb 3.1 gen2 (the red usb)

- one dispositive 2.0 for test usb 2.0

is that correct?

Also you know why I can't see FAN control on my asus rog maximum hero XI?

Hi dear!

yes but I have usb 3.1 gen2, so for testing that speed I read that I have to use a 3.1 gen2 device, is that right?

I can't see fan sensor on HWmonitr, so I can't see fan and also I can't control them!
