High Sierra (on X299 + i9 7960x) is SLOW

OK I will go ahead with Mojave next week.

And for TSC Sync, the only thing I know is how to put the correct number of core in VoodooTSCsync and this is what I've already done without any change.

Hope you help me to solve this issue :-) but let me put Mojave first, thanks again !

I'm trying to compare i7 8700 vs i9 7960X, I have the 2 at home.

In Da vinci resolve with the same project same settings, exporting a video take 8s on the i7 and 6min on the i9.

Annyoning !!! But why ? Do u have an idea ?

Yes I will stay in F1 for now it's OK.

Just to let you know : I have all the USB ports NOT working at all.

Only the 2 first USB ports upside are working and only in USB2 mode.

Why ?

OK thanks again for your help :)

I've done this :

uia_exclude=HS04;HS06;HS09;HS10;HS11;HS12;HS13;HS14;SS01;SS02;SS03;SS04

And all my Rear USB ports are working. Mouse + Keyboard at the top. The 4 others ports are working, I tested with an USB2 stick and an USB3 external HDD.

I have no front USB on my case so I cant test more. What I've discovered :

[ref]gprime[/ref], u need work with 15 ports limit, if u have more, u need kill

remember, 1 port = 2 ports( HS0x for USB 2 connected devices and SS0x for USB 3 connected devices)

Yeah thanks I know this : 1 USB3 port = 2 ports...

For now it's working, I will see tomorrow with USB-C external HDD...

The fact is that I can't find the address of the internal port because they are not connected (my case have no front port).

See u tomorrow I will let you know if the USB-C drive works.

Another things : Do you know the best settings for Vega 64 fan / temperature / clocks / voltage ?

Using VGTAB : I'm attempting to reduce noise and increase performance of a Gigabyte Vega64.
