laudou Posted November 12, 2018 Author Posted November 12, 2018 Hi Sorry for the delay. I spent hours trying to install Mojave on my MSI X99 based Hackintosh. I believe that the results will surprise you as much as they surprised me. Selecting the Olarila USB installation in the bios as the first booting device always ended up on "Couldn't allocate runtime area" no matter what I tried. Then I chose a random working Mojave hard drive as the first booting device in the bios, but at he Clover boot window, I selected the Olarila usb installer. And it worked. I was able to complete the installation on a first hard drive. To make sure I was not dreaming I repeated the process on a second hard drive. And it worked too. Not content with those results, I installed Mojave on an external SSD drive. And it worked. I now have fully working computer. There is one thing that I did not try and I wanted to ask you about: could I use the X99 Clover folder found in the downloads of this site to replace the Clover folder found on the Olarila usb installer and hope that my computer would boot normally with that modified usb installer? Thanks for taking the time to read me.
