Najr4d Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 can i use this DSDT on iMacPro 2017 identification with iGPU disabled? Do you still need XHCI-unsupported.kext and EFICheckDisabler.kext in Catalina?

rajkhand Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 my system is GA 370N wifi motherboard, i7-8700K CPU, GA RX-570 4GB, Catalina 10.15.2 with your latest whatevergreen and lilu What SMBIO? In Devices/Properties what setting for Platform Id, intelgfx? Should I check injectIntel? and boot argument Shikivga=60? At present I am using imacpro1,1, disabled iGPU in BIOS, ShikiVGA=16, latest whatevergreen 1.3.6, lilu 1.4.0 and No entry in Device/Properties everything works like Safari playing Netflix and Amazon prime, TV+ app playing content, HEVEC H265 working using RX 570 BUT H264 not working though videoproc says both 264/265 enabled at time of encoding h264 it gives error in log file that videotoolbox cannot be initialised also in handbrake if I select h264 Videotoolbox codec will not encode. Thanks
Administrators MaLd0n Posted December 18, 2019 Author Administrators Posted December 18, 2019 [ref]rajkhand[/ref], use iMac19,2 smbios with shikigva=128 with no igpu enable -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Hackintosh Support since 2006 HERE
rajkhand Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 With imac19,2 nothing works used you whatevergreen and Lilu and Shikivga=128, iGPU disabled in BIOS videoproc both NO Hackintool VDA Decoder Decoder fail
Administrators MaLd0n Posted December 18, 2019 Author Administrators Posted December 18, 2019 [ref]rajkhand[/ref], try with iMac19,1, work very good -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Hackintosh Support since 2006 HERE
rajkhand Posted December 19, 2019 Posted December 19, 2019 In past I tried also with 19,1 with iGpu enabled in BIOS and with headless ig platform id and every thing worked except H264 and Netflix and Amazon Prime playing in Safari. But I have not tried with the latest whatevergreen and lilu. Why iGpu should be disabled in BIOS? Can you please give me the values for Device/Properties etc. Also with imacpro1,1 only H264 is not working any solution to that?
Administrators MaLd0n Posted December 19, 2019 Author Administrators Posted December 19, 2019 [ref]rajkhand[/ref], if u use intelhd, dont need any device/properties now, just enable and weg kext work on it -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Hackintosh Support since 2006 HERE
wastedbrain Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Hi there [ref]MaLd0n[/ref]! First of, thanks for DSDT you sent me earlier. It fixed a good number of stuff. I am currently testing the hackintosh with OBS and it appears encoding via gpu is not available. Do I need to implement this guide to my hackintosh to achieve this? Will it not distort/break the current working config I got from you? My First Hackintosh: GA-Z390 Gaming M/Intel Core i5 9400F/32GB G.Skill 3600/MSI RX6600XT
Administrators MaLd0n Posted December 20, 2019 Author Administrators Posted December 20, 2019 [ref]wastedbrain[/ref], Use weg kext from first post and add shikigva=128 ur processor don't have igpu, intel quick sync don't work -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Hackintosh Support since 2006 HERE
wastedbrain Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 [ref]MaLd0n[/ref], I cant find your instruction on how to implement that. All I can think of is step 1: I open config.plist with clover; step 2: Copy Whatevergreen to the EFI/clover/kexts/other folder step 3: ?
