prashantloveguru143 Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 i5 9400 B360MD3H (F12 BIOS) R9 280X installed 10.13.6 successfully also did security update. but problem is i can use either UHD630 or R9280x initially i tried only with iGPU (DVI port) , but no success as igpu ll activated but totally black screen. so i did framebuffer pathing so that i successfully activated UHD630 (HDMI port), (see image) h/w acceleration enabled supporting h.264,HEVC then disabaled igpu in bios and put 280x (HDMI), and running it perfectly but no quicksync then i enabled internal graphics iGPU in bios and display connected to 280x(HDMI) then unable to boot system. it stuck. (refer images) its very important to enabling quick sync as i m fcpx user. plz help https://drive.google.com/open?id=1RvqW5HpqDNZ6r6muXUqvPjFa3HrllT2B https://drive.google.com/open?id=1TDG5Wg2Xu-8yoGUG4s1g4GwsOUaYdzuZ https://drive.google.com/open?id=1hX50cAv3y9FUSvh3cCoSJoEC1J7oLiwS https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KEn9zvQdFCOZyGZkM6JNPEMoF_Y2jm_m https://drive.google.com/open?id=1lvJj4cU0-1B-3kajW4CsNLhxhdI8HKlO] https://drive.google.com/open?id=1AU4dllhcQ_2tRoY2vKub1F_jSccI-eyH Added in 32 minutes 20 seconds: I have a problem with HD4600 (I7-4770K) NO HEVC works. prashantloveguru143 Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 my efi folder with CSM = disable and Internal Graphics = Enable thank u so much MaLd0n for quick reply, disabling CSM solves 90% of problem, Case1: using ur efi folder , Internal Graphics = Enable, display connected to 280x(HDMI) booted succesfully but now problem in iGPU not loaded, Quick sync not working. in this case. Case2: using ur efi folder , Internal Graphics = Enable, display connected to 280x(HDMI) so tried inject intel in clover, in verbose i m seeing that iGPU is loading but unable to reach login screen, display black out. i think there is some connector port issue. wat to do now.
prashantloveguru143 Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 problem in iGPU not loaded, Quick sync not working i injected intel and apply framebuffer patch in device properties, smbios 18,3 everything works properly with quicks sync. thank u so much. Built successful !

rokdrgo Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 [ref]MaLd0n[/ref], Thank you men, I'll try it and let you know. I already donated a couple of bucks. Cheers from Rodrigo Nava Update I used your EFI folder and worked Ok, but FCPX performance remains the same. I already added this -> IntelGFX 0x59128086 ig-platform-id 0x59120003 Check InjectIntel shikigva=60 and performance hasn't changed. I still confused.

rokdrgo Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 [ref]MaLd0n[/ref], I ran VDADecoder and displayed this " GVA info: Successfully connected to the Intel plugin, offline Gen95 Hardware acceleration is fully supported logout " Luckily I did some research and I wanna stand for future users who are interested on FCPX ( Final Cut Pro ) that the longer and bigger gets a project on this software, the more clunkier and slower will performance gonna be, I had 4k material on a 500GB project and performance was so so, then when I did a little project with 4k files and only 50GB playback was awesome. This is bad only when you're editing, when you Render your final edits performance will be always the same. Also, at least leave 100 GB unused space on the Hard Drive you put your library. [ref]MaLd0n[/ref], again thank you for your help, if you have any nice tips, I'll appreciate it. Cheers.

mau108 Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 What am I doing wrong? I have Mojave installed on my laptop and I believe the correct kexts loaded but hardware accelleration does not work. Stuff is sluggish on the laptop, like youtube stutters and such. In Hackintool it shows vda decoder failed but system report shows video driver loaded? Please see screenshot.
