Hi[ref]Mirone[/ref], I am using Lilu+AppleALC and I can get speakers&headphones working very well. However, the internal mic is not working at all. Appreciate if you could help and I attach codec dump.

Mirone, these are my files from linux mint 19. hdmi and alc256

try this:AppleHDA.kext.zip

Use Layout_id=2 in your config plist or DSDT never in both.

Install AppleHDA in S/L/E.

delete AppleALC and similar kexts, like voodooHDA...etc.., don't forget repair permissions and rebuild caches after install.

answer me with a copy your IOREG.

Hi Mirone, appreciate your time. This is the codec dump attached.

Very odd, there is no Microphone listed in your codec_dump, but we can shoot in the dark.
