Can you patch this DSDT.aml file?

I've extracted it from Windows using Read & Write Utility v1.7, selecting DSDT and saving the file with the BIN option and renaming it to DSDT.aml

I'm using a Z390 Designare, Intel i7-9700F (no i-GPU) and Sapphire Plus Radeon Vega 58 8GB.

Still deciding if it's better iMac19,1 or iMacPro1,1 as the SMBIOS profile. What do you think?

Thanks in advance,

Thanks MaLd0n! I put the full patch dsdt and turned off the ssdt (AWAC, ECUSBX, PLUG-DRTNIA), and it works fine, my motherboard wifi network card does not work and bluetooth works normally.

Thanks MaLd0n, I've applied the DSDT.aml file and everything is working perfectly under macOS Catalina using the iMacPro1,1 profile, emulating an iMac Pro with my hardware:

  • Gigabyte Z390 Designare
  • Intel i7-9700F @4,7GHz
  • Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX Vega 56
  • 32GB (2x16) G-Skill Ripjaws V Red DDR4 3000 CL15
  • WD Black SN750 NVMe 500GB
  • Fenvi T-919 Bluetooth + Wi-Fi
  • Topping D10 USB DAC
  • Elgato EyeTV Hybrid
  • BenQ DesignVue PD2700U

My latests benchmarks are very good. Single-Core results are inline with the latest 10th Gen. 10core iMac and Multi-Core equals a genuine iMacPro with a 8-core Xeon processor.

  • Geekbench 5
    • 1.208   Single-Core
    • 7.898   Multi-Core
    • 54.443 Compute (OpenCL)
    • 57.851 Compute (Metal)
  • Geekbench 4
    • 6.167   Single-Core
    • 32.462 Multi-Core

I haven't used the iMac19,1 profile because I'm using an i7-9700F that doesn't have an internal GPU and macOS expects that a 27" iMac has one, so I moved to iMac Pro as it works with Xeon processors that do not have internal GPU.

The MacPro7,1 you suggests works very well too, but I'm getting a weird error about reaching maximum memory, as my modules aren't ECC and macOS expects ECC memory in the 2019 Mac Pro. I've tried the MacProMemoryNotificationDisabler kext but it doesn't work in my Catalina setup and I think that it doesn't work with macOS Big Sur that is my final goal as it's going to be released soon.

My iMacPro1,1 combination provides full support to all my hardware, including full video acceleration with H264 and HEVC, and it also supports DRM in Safari so I can get 1920x1080 stream from Netflix.

I've setup a second partition to test macOS Big Sur and today I've installed the latest 10th beta, fresh from Apple and working flawlessly

I've decided to go with OpenCore as my bootloader and my EFI folder uses the latest 0.6.2 released version, along with the latest versions of the kexts, drivers and the Resources folder to get a beautiful 4K graphical UI when booting.

This is my actual EFI folder

Thanks again Mald0n, the patched DSDT has been really useful.

@MaLd0n I've rolled back the BIOS in my Z390 Designare from version F9i to version F9g.

F9i caused a system freeze while performing Geekbench tests, and with version F9g I'm still able to disable de CFG Lock and it provides full stability.

I'm not sure if after changing the BIOS version I need to patch again the DSDT file, but I guess so and now I'm having problems with the Bluetooth provided by my Fenvi T-919 that appears as "no available" in macOS Catalina.

Bluetooth works perfectly in Windows so it's not a hardware issue, and Wi-Fi is running OK both in Windows and macOS, so I'm guessing that is something related with the USB Mapping, as the Bluetooth connection of the Fenvi T-919 is done using a USB Header of the motherboard.

Thanks in advance for checking again my DSDT, just extracted from Windows using using Read & Write Utility v1.7, selecting DSDT and saving the file with the BIN option and renaming it to DSDT.aml

I'm using iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS and hardware acceleration works perfectly with H.264 and HEVC without iGPU and using my Radeon RX Vega 56.

But after rolling back my BIOS from F9i to version F9g I think that the DSDT should be patched again.

Can you do your magic again with the freshly extracted DSDT file?

hi MaLd0n! the full dsdt you made for me works very well, the only problem I have is: that the front usb ports in the case do not work for me, the case has 4 usb ports in front, 2 are usb 3.0 and the other 2 that work with Usb 2.0 work just fine they do not work, can you fix it for me?

Hi Maldon I wanted to create the dsdt with RWEverything I extracted them and renamed them im .aml, I loaded the dsdt in the acpi oc folder, the pc does not boot, I opened the dsdt with maciasl when but it lists a dozen errors. Question should be edited, patch, with maciasl first? Or are the errors due to disabled entries in the bios?
