u use last clover version?

Hi Maldon,

sorry if I don't reply you for some days...

I upgrade boot clover with last version (4658) but I have the same issue, in the installation of clover I left the default parameter (just for information, I had to mount efi partion before upgrade, otherwise the upgrade don't work fine).

Fan and leds remain on.

Thanks

Send me Toms-MBP.zip

(5.22 MiB) Downloaded 1 time

Starting my MSI laptop with f11 to boot on my USB stick to use my Mojave EFI folder and associated Clover / DSDT, but no audio. Has changed ID from 3 to 2 and used Mirone's latest HDA patch without success. Maybe you can see what I'm doing wrong?

what id u use before? sound work?

u can remove this _DSM and inject via clover for test, device tab

into method label _DSM parent_label HDEF remove_entry;

into device label HDEF insert

begin

Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) \ n

{\ N

    If (LEqual (Arg2, Zero)) {Return (Buffer () {0x03}}} \ n

    Return (Package () \ n

    {\ N

        "AAPL, Lock-Name", Buffer () {"Built in"}, \ n

        "Layout ID", Buffer () {0x02, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00}, \ n

        "device_type", Buffer () {"Audio Controller"}, \ n

        "built-in", Buffer () {0x00}, \ n

        "PinConfigurations", Buffer () {}, \ n

        "hda-gfx", Buffer () {"onboard-1"} \ n

    }) \ N

} \ N

end

And now, audio is working on id 2, can you check that I did not ruin anything?
