mandrakescream Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 Hello everyone. I am trying to install MAC OS on a dell e6410 laptop. The boot fails at VoodooPS2Mouse: Version 1.8.24 strating on OS X Darwin 16.0 Then the text on screen goes all garbled and a "no Entry" sign in the middle. What does this mean? Any help please?
pernacabeluda Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 Hi, it's probably an USB issue, try to enable USB fixes in Clover options. Also try different USB port. -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE
mandrakescream Posted June 7, 2018 Author Posted June 7, 2018 Thanks. I have tried a few different USB devices, different USB ports and enabled/disabled "USB Ownership" and "USB Injection" but still wont load. Any thing else to try? Cheers

pernacabeluda Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 Did you try with USB emulation disabled? -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE
mandrakescream Posted June 8, 2018 Author Posted June 8, 2018 Did you try with USB emulation disabled? Yep, that basically removes USB completely from the system and it cant see USB at all then.
pernacabeluda Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 You can try changing SMBIOS in Clover options. I had a laptop that could boot from USB only with MacBookPro8,3 SMBIOS. Other than that I'm out of ideas. -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE

pernacabeluda Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 You can try earlier version, Yosemite has less problems with USB. If you manage to install it, it's easier to figure out the problem, it happens since El Capitan https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306777-guide-usb-fix-el-capitan-1011/ -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Consulting for macOS Hackintosh since 2006 HERE
