Having (2) issues on X299 GA Designare EX w/7980EX CPU. USB 3 ports only read USB 2.0 devices. All ports work just no USB 3.0 . Bluetooth shows as working but fails to discover devices.

Is there a known working EFI folder for GA Designare EX w/7980EX CPU available for download?

GPU is FirePro W7000

Hi MaLd0n, and first of all, thank you for your work!

I'm trying to use your images and stick with the x86_validate_topology() 16 threads but 17 registered from MADT... see attached image for the detailed message.

Now, I have a Gigabyte UD4 x299 motherboard, rev1.0, with BIOS updated to version F6i.

And I have an i7-9800X CPU, the latest and greatest Skylake-X refresh.

I did edit IOCPUNumber in VoodooTSCSync Info.plist file but it did not make any difference.

Surely you would know what to do :)

Please let me know if I can provide more information.

TIA!

My boot failed even sooner with the new CLOVER:

Added in 21 minutes 13 seconds:

dsl390, u try aptio3 with emuvariable?

Removing emuvariable driver took me past "Couldn't allocate runtime area" but brought me back to the "86_validate_topology() 16 threads but 17 registered from MADT..." message.

I'm away from my home for a few days so I won't be able to try for until next week. But someone got a 9800x working here and posted efi folder. Give it a shot https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic ... de/?page=4

Didn't work for me, dsl390. Same "16 threads but 17 registered" issue. I have a different motherboard, Gigabyte UD4.

MaLd0n, many thanks, really, but I'm still having the same problem.

I tried your CLOVER as-is, then upgraded to the latest Clover r4813. It made no difference.

I'm loading High Sierra, if it matters. I'll try Mojave now and let you know.

UPDATE: Mojave didn't make any difference :(
