Dimas Gusman Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Hello everyone, I am still learning the ropes of the Hackintosh world. I have an Acer Aspire 4738Z laptop with the following specifications: - Processor: i5-560M - Graphics: Intel HD Graphics (1st Gen Arrandale) - Wi-Fi: Intel Dual-Band AC 8265 - Audio: Realtek HD Audio ALC272 - Bootloader: OpenCore Legacy I have followed several forum tutorials and successfully got the following working: - Wi-Fi, LAN, display brightness, Bluetooth, and RehabMan DSDT patches (fixing HPET, IRQ, etc.). However, I am having trouble with the audio. Here is what I have tried so far: - AppleHDA + DSDT (failed; tried all layout IDs) - AppleHDA + AppleALC + DSDT (failed; tried all layout IDs) - AppleHDA patched with AppleHDA Patcher (failed) - HDAUniversal + boot-arg (failed; tried all layout IDs) - VoodooHDA: Sound plays, but cuts out/stops after a few seconds. I tried changing the sample rate (kHz) via Audio MIDI Setup; sound plays, but cuts out/stops again after a few seconds. - How can I fix or resolve this audio issue? I have tried various methods and files found on the forums, but nothing has worked so far. Thanks in advance.
