kyle10 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Need help I change my GPU from HD 6570 to GTX 660 at first it boot but the resolution is 800x600 so I reboot and boot with windows 10 Im using dual boot (SSD) sierra and (HDD) windows 10. tried to boot with -x but it will just restart. :

I am a beginner and my problem is that I have tried to install HS / Mojave / Catalina but when the installation is almost finished I get the message "An error occurred while updating system extension information." and I can not go from there, I have correctly configured the BIOS, I use an HDD and I assign it APFS (in Macos plus Journaled the installation bar does not advance) and my last attempt is to try Sierra. Neo_1979 Posted May 19, 2020 Posted May 19, 2020 Hello, help please. My config: Asus Rampage IV Formula X79 Intel i7-3930k 16GB Corsair DDR3 1866Mhz Nvidia GT 630 2GB. My problem is the video card. I used it in another hacintosh with Sierra without problems, just using INJECT NVIDIA in Clover. But here when desktop should appear, system reboots. If I use NV_DISABLE=1, i can reach the desktop but without graphic acceleration and possibility to change resolution. In profile it says NVIDIA CHIP MODEL 5MB. Hope you can do the trick. You said is generated in clover/acpi/origin where I see that on the windows? UPDATE: Nvm i have found how to do so.
