TheVintageArena Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Hi everyone, I wanted to share a small real‑world use case that might be useful for others running creative or e‑commerce projects on a budget. I help with one of the cheapest online thrift store projects from the UK, and we’ve been using a Hackintosh‑based workflow for product photography, image editing and listing management. The setup is built from older hardware but runs macOS smoothly thanks to the guides and tools from this community. This has allowed us to keep costs low while still using macOS apps for photo processing, layout and basic video clips for social media. It’s been a good example of how a stable Hackintosh can support a small business without needing to invest in new Apple hardware. If anyone is interested, I’m happy to share more details about the specs, EFI base, and which updates have been stable for day‑to‑day work. Thanks again to Olarila for keeping these resources and updates available.
