Struggling with ASUS PRIME Z490-P - USB stops working randomly despite proper USB map

Once I set it up around 2020, it worked perfectly. Then I wasn't using this PC for a while and upgraded to Sonoma, which revealed some issues I describe in detail on another forum. I already sorted out USB mapping and even got some custom-patched DSDT solving the
ACPI Error: \_SB_.PCI0.XHC_.RHUB.HS13 Namespace lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND
error I couldn't solve on my own, but the main issue with this mobo still persists.

The problem is that right after boot, the USB keyboard stops working. To make it work again, I have to either unplug it and plug it in again or put the system to sleep and wake it up. Then when using the system, the keyboard occasionally stops working. The only 100% way to reproduce it is to go to system updates (!) - then in 100/100 cases the USB will stop working. Yeah, I know how bizarre it is!

It only affects the keyboard; other USB devices remain unaffected. Anticipating the question: I did try a fresh install and confirmed that the keyboard itself is fine since it works well under Windows/Linux.
