Use this PNLF with BrightnessKeys.kext. IN some cases need Windows patch.

Ensure that the config.plist file is properly configured for your hardware. Look for: Device Properties: Ensure that the brightness settings are correctly set.
Add the appropriate framebuffer properties for your Intel HD Graphics 4400.

If you're facing a screen brightness issue on your HP Pavilion 13-b100nt (Sonoma), here are several steps to diagnose and fix it, depending on whether you're running Windows, Linux, or macOS Sonoma via Hackintosh (since "Sonoma" is typically macOS 14):

If You’re Running Windows:
1. Update Display Drivers

Press Win + X → Device Manager → Expand Display adapters.

Right-click your graphics adapter (e.g., Intel HD Graphics) → Update driver.

    Choose “Search automatically for drivers”.

Make sure the config.plist file is properly configured for your hardware. Search for: Device Properties: Make sure the brightness is set correctly.

If you're running Sonoma via Hackintosh, a common problem is that macOS/Sonoma doesn't correctly recognize the backlight device. I've seen many users fix this by adding SSDT‑PNLF.aml to EFI/OC/ACPI and ensuring BrightnessKeys.kext is used so the key and slider work correctly.
