Ubuntu Twenty Posted March 6, 2025 Posted March 6, 2025 I have a MSI laptop and want to install hackintosh in it, but the problem is i can't find an EFI for it. Usecase: I want to learn apple software development. I have tried macos in virtualbox and VMware but it is very slow that xcode app build takes 30 minutes with caches. First built took 1 hour. Thats why I want to install hackintosh into an external SSD (it's speed is very fast I have manjaro in it) and it's size is pretty big and have 2 partitions. Here specifications for my laptop: Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS with Radeon 780M Integrated GPU. Memory: 8x2 5600MT/s Audio: Realtek Audio Display Adaptor: Radeon 780M and Nvidia RTX 4060 Firmware: MS-158N SBIOS VERSION.50F Network Adapter: Realtek PCIe Baseboard: MSI MS-158N Why I brought windows laptop: because some softwares won't run on mac and I wanted to learn rendering also and in these budget I won't getting any macbook. Sorry in advance because I'm new to flashing custom Bootloaders.
