For some reasons I'm use old cool overclocked MacBook Air 2010 early with patches for Kernel and Clover Bootloader.

That device i'd like to make Server MacOS installers with a lot of settings to improve performance.

Works like Haswel system on Dual Core CPU with changes of bus and peripherals.

Be care with settings because this not a toy to play with CPU settings and Kernel.

SMC after system self optimized works om MBP mode with 2.45 version(never).

 

USB bus and logic board system improved to in frequencies.

That device have a second life and works few years more better.

Upd:

Fix Speed Step, Add few haswel features, improve performance, sleep and darkwake futures.

Make firmware ROM from original MBP have affect to SMC and some another futures.

Air 3.2 -> MBP 14.3 ...

CPU Type changed to 1281 to make it xeon-dual-core.

Fans sounds for now softer and better.

Maybe cool way to reinstall something newer than Catalina on that MacBook Air because HS no longer under the support.

Make it dirty hacky fastly and cool'a 🙂

Insufficient docs to make config more flexible.

Need maybe some links to learn and understanding in what of section in tree these works. I make something with that settings few eyers before but have no remember how it works.

Seems have a trouble with a sleep mode when clamshell happens. Just switch power source and await longer after press a power button. Because that's firmware have no touchpad and acpi keyboard support for old Air book and kexts used works another. Try to fix it later. Guys says about that MBP firmware can be flashed to controller with a configuration automatically that's is very good because management works better.

 

Looking to the console and think what happens new. A lot of things loaded from Apple and strange strings like Bembi I don't understand for what now.

 

Maybe have a situation to patch a microcode futures to install new MacOS that does not support of old hardware like that MacBook Air 2010 early.

 

Make CPU to 1282 for now and that's looking a works correct. Try to split all CPU states and tables to one config patch. A lot of kexts I don't like. All of them configure CPU, bus and after that we can extract one good system setting removing all not needed.

 

Upload few later. It can be used on a lot of old Mac's not only 3,2. Need very carefully testing.

 

Think about make a detonator on C4 state. Because some bastards like to steel all the keychain when a developer not look for a computer. Few seconds and all the passwords can be copied to the USB or SD Card. Money's, privacy data.

Maybe I have to upload configured installer with a utils for system and chip modding. In server reason not needed to use latest MacOS. 2ghz dual core with 2gb memory and video with 256mb works perfect at the end of 2024. Slow compiling and logs analyze much better to understand what you do for production.

 

Maybe add some health patched because long works with a computer make you damage and you sometimes maybe works with very adult guys to understand some things not possible to learn another ways.

Yerstaday reinstall all the system from that Clover config and found one small trouble with shutdown related to sysctl config.

 

Swap and hybernate, and shutdown works incorrect because happens comressor work on MacBook another than Hackintosh.

 

And trouble with secure mode on MacBook can't be enabled on second kernel setting. Means we can only use secure level. Thats a reason to use Hackintosh.

 

Secure kernel laso blocks access to install anything, change anything and block mounting of external drives, support write protect but can use all the system like user or server works safe. Means very small chances to broke anything or hack.

Check sleep, and clumshell - all works good instead of old NVidia sound for VoodooHDA.

Old ACPI keyboard works cool to replaced to new kexts with a support of a touchbar. We can update a lot of old unsupported devices AIR, MBP, iMac maybe and Mini.

Make small'a crazy speedstep with C2, C3, C4, C6, C7 with overclock and bus tune. Works super. And hate a lot of ranges CPU generation we hate to configure. Means works more like universal SoC solution.

Sysctl -a freeze on wdtlog but int's not a trouble. Fix it later.

Found a time before new year to refresh some things in a memory and do installer to port into latest OS maby.

Try to improve installer patch and test some things manually. Works cool without a troubles. Next think how place after install maintenance scripts for server and hardware configuring automatically on install stages.

Just need some /bin utils add to the installer partition, few frameworks and libraries and we can use we need from install boot.

One nano placed to /bin makes a not a trouble to run any hardware.

Maybe we can apply disabled Finder and some Preferences.

 

Guys request help them to make collect and rebuild experience to make hackintoshing faster and simplier. Hell to remember that craze.

Looks not a trouble. If compress and cleanup all the period when a Jobs hardware stops to be supported maybe somebody can do the things faster and look at the real interesting changes

Today analyze how to improve CPU frequencies stepping. For example I'd like to remove a lot of kexts for Speed Step and bus clocking configure and make something like a one patch for all the things we can place in clover config or open core. How we can decode tables carefully?

 

 

I found one Core of CPU stay like a Primary and labeled as Apple ACPI CPU and another cores configured similar and was a slaves. What if we can mark it for E-cores and P-cores thats can be founded in latest Intel CPU generations( ... EVO, Comet ... ).

 

 

If we drop generations to XEON it's not a reason to understand how works XNU management and Haswel architecture futures inked to a kernel API for management. In that case Intel integrated futures blocked but a Haswel and XNU management have nothing to use and we make something new architecture with not linked CPU generation. Works perfect ....

 

 

Nothing works in real but have no troubles with a dummy PM on a kernel based management.

 

Next we can use Linux microcodes update for CPU and make patching a CPU futures into the kernel like maybe  SSE 4.2+ and another. Found a lot of futures related to a Chipset chip or bridges. Most of bios firmware show what options includes that and we can understand how of CPU futures really on used by MacOS, BSD, Linux. All of that kernels do with a native futures better because developers hate to support that shit. Many some Haswel and XNU futures we can re-hook and emulate universal platform for any CPU.

 

And. We have a System on a Chip like platform for a range of devices and MacOS versions.

 

Look how works a power management with [Mobile] setting like notebook + [UPS] + server config and it works perfect to.

 

 

Update:

iMac, Mac Pro and Mini have a personal chipset like HM or some bridges? Question because my Air 2010 early have only NVidia MCP89 and have no a chipset. Apple says about a difference with PC is that situation of logic board have no related by vendor chips for bus like mother board with chipset bridges north/south and futures attached to SMC chip.

Update: accepted looks like unhackable at all but need more performance for PF bacause very hard filter and you can use before light rejecting firewall before packet filter.

Congrats ...

New year become and we alive to make new things.

Make a few tests and looks all works fine with blessing a booter. I try update clover and found some troubles with plist format and another efi tools compability. Would to refactor that to make compatible patch with netboot kernel and latest hardware.

Have a changes but looking into 'man bless' found a things not serriously needed to upgrade because most of things included in MacOS factory.

Big system gaps from old Mac OS X(boot 132 and Elliots force) and hardware to latest MacOS(Open Core and Intel Lakes) makes intererst whats new and whats useless to works with a firmware.

Today port libraries and frameworks Installer have no(just need only nano to make few things but dids goes very long and big time)

For now works a lot of applications. Also add kernel with netboot future and think how to make portable installer for small domain.

 

Few things with a preferences and few daemons for autoconfig and MacOS can be installed on a range of hardware without virtualisation. Something like standalone & networking PE +Installer.

On a days check what if add kernel and rebuild it to netboot and found troubles with caches because permissions chmod and xattr is another on installer. Happy thing is instalker not developed from Jobs times and all the things possible to use for installing latest MacOS 🙂

Found a time to test Clover bootloader changes and latest possible update for MacBook Air 3.2(2010 early) is 5123. After system can't detect any graphic cards.

Message it's intel where only NVidia 320M dGPU soldered to logic board and about 0 graphic cards detected. Next stuck boot on +++++ ....

So. Look at the toys motherboard of MSI Summit Flip EVO with Intel i5 and think what to do. Laught or cry. Developers says about a chipset graphics dead and all the related solutions was deleted by reason to Intel graphics but on EVO system we also loose a DDR5 for example in size of 16Gb.

Developers says about for now cool thing is a making a SoC solutions where interconnect speed via Graphics on a Chip, Processor and Memory is cool and not need to understand how that sh*t works.

DDR 5 time ...

All drivers and utils I test and upgrade to latest possible version and renew some kexts. Works good but seem for Air 3.2 it's a stuck time.

Some guys says about try to return old gfx switch with supports of a lot of soldered devices and chipset graphics try to be recovered into a simple and standard device for all boards where Intel CPU used in future because a crazy's with g\units and framebuffers is idiotically dramatic and simple standard graphics device is good also for for servers.

NVidia 320 for example with 256 works perfect. Also I'd like to use Kryptonite kext whats good to use external dGPU. For fast mobility works all I need is something like i3-i5 no more and iGPU. If at home simply can connect external card and play, render.

 

Because guys ask to check and test how it works I do not port anything to Open Core because reason to small and a lot of things ported to Runtime from Clover and used same there.

Few days ago make small things to improve installer with PE futures and found trouble with network kernel.

 

Maybe it is not needed because nothin usefull found and a lot of things start works and sometimes won't to be switched off.

 

Later I want to make installer maybe with Ventura or never.

Apple and guys ask me not to provide that distro for thefts, terrents and bad hackers becouse some humans try to make dirty moneys and troubles periodicaly stealing a brains.

I say about that needed for situation about a service cenre sometimes impossible and thats can help to repair and revover a data. Nothing happens.

 

Speak about sh*t happens when Russian thefts with drugusers try to steal MacOS snd link me with Apple. Next I think why not be a good guy and use that situation without drug makers and thefts for example into nuclear snd radio development. We use chronos and take all the expierience from 2009 when I was a student

Update beta with a lot of RTC futures you can test.

Some models of Mac's need to be tested with sleep modes.

Clover for now latest possible for Mac Book Air 3,2(2010 early) because not a reason to use Open Core have no support of these hardware. Works fast.

I make new Bus settings and you need to understand it's small overclocked. Also update a kexts.

XEFI folder for Air:

Extract and place to the EFI partition root. Space for standard partition ends and we need make install script with repartitions to increase a space.

Maintenance also updated. Sometimes kextcache try to work with Installer partition where kernel is locked to change and unmount\eject works slowly. Keep that please on usb because also we have troubles with net boot. Look very strange a situation when system booted from root try to modify installer and booted from installer try to use a links from installed root system. Hate APFS also because works with HFS+ better.

Today take my MacBook Pro from delivery and want to update MacOS to latest Sequoia.

Few weeks need to understand what changes with High Sierra and port all the things to latest installer.

Found we not serriously need 'DD1' patcher because menu with utilities can be changed with third party utilities list in original installer to make more clean system because some hackers catch big troubles.

Found some more devices to make observe of a bus and chipset.

Maybe can make few things better.

From some update for example scrub instruction no longer works in Packet Filter and guys can inject ARP attack with fake listener to networks and exploit a system and steel moneys or unprivate you network activity.

If update host is not real we can hack all the system by one exploit update package few seconds.

 

Found small extension for emulation of TPM(x) for PCI extension. Time to play with that to .... We can make it via free connector(nest for connecting of iPod HDD or something another) on board with few modifications of electronics. 

TPM developers catch some hate and farting-quake looking what we want to do with that shit 🙂

So. Make some system surgening to move experience from HS to Ventura to improve installer in Open Core way.

Found nothing useful for overclocking.

So. i5 downgraded to desktop XEON E3 and in Dual Core 1282 factory Bus. Happens graphics HD 4000 works perfect and board with a bridge can be extended by some needed futures.

 

Found no any useful instead of we loose a settings and descriptors to works with a hardware.

 

Hopefully all works fine and I'd like to prepare make run of NetTop with Comet lake where UHD 630 gen 2 used and E-P core rings I'm interested in to tune and overclock for a small servers reason.

 

Who knows howe to overclock system on Open Core using user-modified Speed Step's and C-P states?

Next ideas to catch GSM around because impossible to think how MS would have a troubles with 13th windows.

Make full firmware for OpenCore and try to flash bandwidth's unlocks for AirPort eXtrime BT/WIFI for MBP and play with radio.

Keep a solution works and maybe cool to make something like ceels-based network from iPhones something like a Starcraft Protos flying units working on self server with net-boot on MacOS xDDD
