HP PRODESK 400 G5 - Disable Secure Boot

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm trying to install macos Sonoma on my HP Prodesk 400 G5, using the latest version of opencore, but unfortunately I can't change my computer's BIOS to disable 'Disable Secure Boot'.  I've tried every way: putting a password in the BIOS, upgrading, etc.  Whenever I save the configuration to turn off secure boot, the BIOS does not make the necessary change. Anyway, I'm stuck in this frustrating situation and I would really appreciate anyone who can help me.

Thank you very much,

Flávia

Finally, I managed to boot via OpenCore after 4 days of intense research online. And the worst part is that the problem was the stupidest thing: the BIOS password only works if not entered using the numeric keypad!

Thank you for your help; I'm going to insert the data you suggested in ACPI.

One last question, now that I've accessed Sonoma, my graphics card (Intel UHD Graphics 630) only shows 3MB, making everything very slow. Could you please explain how can I fix this?

Thanks,
Flávia
