Hello everyone. I was kinda new to this whole Mac on PC thing but i have to say its really addictive. I have thrown out all my Windows DVD and USB and i changed totallyto Mac only.

Ive got a Desktop with latest Mac on it(6core intel)and an old Toshiba laptop to experience. So far 10.6.3, 10.6.8 installed without any bootflags. Just outa box the USB.

Im trying to figure it out how to update more the laptop.

Thanks guys for bringing us the Hackintosh..

Never mind. After like 3 days only reading about Mac OS and Hackintoshing, looking after a good and reliable YouTube guide finally I came to that point that I don't really need that 10.7 and like a miracle I was able to get working somehow on the laptop the High Sierra with -v and -x Bootflags. It's booted up only once though but it was amazing. I need to figure out how I can get working that HS stable.

Could i ask some help please? I know and i heard that million times already that here Tonymacs and iAtkos is not supported. But! I cant install higher version on the laptop then just 10.6.8. I followed about 10 different guiides how to do it but its not working for me for a reason. I do everyhting like the guide says but i cant install 10.7 or higher version. I dont know how i was able but ive got working a High Sierra with Clover. Dont ask me how did i do but i was able to boot it up once and thats it. I have found an iAtkos version what i dont have to modify or give it bootflags. I get the installer done 100% okay but whenever i try to boot to the newly installed system my laptop is getting in a never ending boot loop. The iAtkos version im trying to use is the iAtkos S3. I am able to install that version on my laptop without bootflags but i am absolutely not able to boot it up. My laptop is reboot all the time after a few lines of script.

I will go through one more time the install and i will try to catch any useful error message or just couple of SS. I would really appreciate if anyone at least give me some clue which way i should go. I forgot to mention, my goal is not to create a power plant laptop. I just want my old laptop working fine without lags and things whenever i use windows on it. If i will be able to go up couple of version like having ML or Yosemite or anything similar i would be over the moon(and back)

thanks in advance

I see. Million thanks for your reply. You put me out of my misery. I downloaded almost every possible Mac OS dmg file, tried to flash it with Balena and on my Desktop PC with Mac on it flashed with Disk Utility like restore the flash drive with the image file. So that means I have to say goodbye to that laptop.

Thanks again
