FrankAbews Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 Is it ethical for forum administrators to prioritize premium and donator users when it comes to support and resources? Given that many community members contribute valuable knowledge for free, does this create an unequal playing field or even foster resentment among users who cannot afford to donate? What implications does this have for the community's overall spirit and inclusivity?", "refusal 1 2
Administrators MaLd0n Posted September 28, 2024 Administrators Posted September 28, 2024 No implications because everything here is free. Just download the image and the necessary folders. 1 -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Hackintosh Support since 2006 HERE
guzman Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 Hello: I think here you can get everything you need to create your hack for free. If you ask for help, they also give it for free. Just taking that into account, you can create a fully functional hack. So, what being a Premium or a Donor mean? I think it is just for getting the most out of your hack. Is it necessary? Not at all. But if you want, you can have that benefit. Let me picture this with an example: Imagine that you take a trip to Rio de Janeiro for free and you have a guide who will take you through the city and show you the most important things, and who doesn't charge anything for doing it. Now imagine that you want personalized treatment from that guide, which will take more work on his part, more time and more dedication to do. Would be wrong for him to ask for a donation or something similar? No. His time and effort are well worth it. Will others feel envious for not having that service? They shouldn't. Without paying anything at all they still will have their guide and will know everything relevant about the city. Please note, this is someone who cannot make a donation and yet is extremely grateful to this page for everything he has received. 3
Administrators MaLd0n Posted September 28, 2024 Administrators Posted September 28, 2024 That's the idea. comradekaspar1969 Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 I'm a donor and I say, it was the best thing I did regarding my hacks, but anyway I always used the forum files and the hackintosh never gave any problems. Look at YouTube, most people don't know anything other than the OpenCore manual, but they're there making a lot of money. 2
arturcostajr Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 Dude, this is an option and not mandatory. In addition to having the best support available, you also help keep this forum online. 1

michaelbstron Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 The guy is complaining about being a tightwad and not helping at all. He must be another one who makes money selling hackintoshes with the forum files and still wants to complain.😂 1
