Hello Guys,

Could you please help me out, guys? I have an ASUS PRIME H310-PLUS R2.0 motherboard with an 8th generation i5 processor. I've been trying to find the option to change SATA to AHCI in the BIOS settings, but I can't seem to locate it. I've searched on YouTube and the internet, but couldn't find anything helpful. Could you please guide me on how to solve this issue?

Thanks guys.

U can use this method for it and change what you need https://www.olarila.com/topic/40092-how-to-fixing-your-dvmt-pre-allocated-for-the-perfect-hackintosh/

For example my Asus notebook RAID is default and i just need change Variable 0x5C to 00 in SaSetup

SATA Mode Selection, VarStoreInfo (VarOffset/VarName): 0x5C, VarStore: 0x17(PchSetup)

0x4A41F                 Default: DefaultId: 0x0, Value (8 bit): 0x1 {5B 06 00 00 00 01}
0x4A425                 One Of Option: AHCI, Value (8 bit): 0x0 (default MFG) {09 07 1C 10 20 00 00}
0x4A42C                 One Of Option: RAID, Value (8 bit): 0x1 {09 07 1D 10 00 00 01}

Maldon, my friend, the steps you mentioned are all for macOS, but I’m currently using Windows 11 and I'm following the preparation steps on that. The issue is that I've booted the USB flash drive and done everything necessary, but I'm running into problems with hardware and BIOS settings. I can't change SATA to AHCI, and I don't know where or how to disable Secure Boot. I tried booting from the USB flash drive as a test, and the boot process seems to start, but after the screen showing that the operating system is booting, nothing happens. I waited for several minutes, but nothing changed. By the way, I just searched and saw that the latest BIOS update for my motherboard was released in 2021. I’m not sure if I should update the BIOS or if it's unnecessary. If you can find any guidance online for me, I’d really appreciate it.❤️‍?❤️‍?❤️‍?

EFI Easy Installation.zip

-Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files
-Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead
-Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen

Maldon, thank you, man. It worked, and I installed it easily. However, now I'm having some issues: my WiFi dongle isn't working, and I'm experiencing problems with my graphics. I'd really appreciate it if you could help me with these as well.

By the way, I installed macOS alongside Windows, but during boot, only Windows starts. I copied the EFI file to the main partition, but Windows still loads.

Thank you so much for your help. This is why Olarila has been around for so many years.

Dual boot on same SSD?

Save one ioreg https://olarila.com/files/Utils/IORegistryExplorer.app.zip

Yeah, with your help,
Yes, dual boot on a same SSD. I have a 500GB hard drive, and I dedicated 100GB to macOS. I've installed it, but as I mentioned, only Windows boots. Could you explain what I need to do with the file you sent, or provide a manual so I can follow it myself? Thank you so much.
