Thank you for helping

I have checked

I know it should work... I was thinking maybe something with my MB / any bios changes.

have tried many times, downloaded different EFI  with different plist configuration, even reinstalled sequoia.

Still unknown...

I almost finished my sequoia Hackintosh rig, only waiting for Rx6600 Gpu to arrive

Everything works by now, but I'm stuck at cpu name 😞 ,

I will probably get use with it aslong is just the name, it does not affect any performance

I have managed to get it show after all,

I spent a lot of time testing and researching, but didn't pay attention to my kexts versions

The CPU name showed after used RestrictEvents kext V1.1.4 and latest version of Lilu kext actual 1.7.0

Thank You

Greetings.

I'm trying to change the processor name from "unknown" to real.

RestrictEvents and Lilu are the most recent installed. Initially, I added the parameters to config.plist manually. Then I used the "cpu-name" script to clear and re-add the parameters to config.plist. I tried changing the ProvideCurrentCpuInfo state. With no result.

I checked, the parameters in config.plist have been added, ProcessorType and revcpu, revcpuname. The "cpu-name" script correctly determines the type and model of the processor, but after a reboot it is still displayed as "unknown".
