Odla Settantuno Posted May 24, 2024 Author Posted May 24, 2024 Thank you!!! Your support was accurate and decisive. I am learning a lot from your guides. Thanks again. The audio is now working properly. The wifi is now enabled but does not detect any network. No scanning seems to be done. Yes, the wifi is Intel AC 8265. If you find the time to give me advice I am grateful. I will wait and in the meantime wish you a good weekend. no scan.zip
Odla Settantuno Posted May 25, 2024 Author Posted May 25, 2024 Good morning MaLd0n, the situation has evolved and I can't assess whether it has improved. I followed your advice, then I added the boot-arg io80211.awdl=0 Now network scanning works but only from the “Settings” menu and not from the Hack bar, as you can see from the attached picture. But if I try to connect to a network my hackintosh reboots instantly. I also attach the files resulting from my investigation. I continue to investigate finding the solution to the problem. Otherwise my first hackintosh is giving me satisfaction and lessons ? Have a nice day! strange state.zip panic(cpu 6 caller 0xffffff801e5b5243): Kernel trap at 0xffffff801e101057, type 13=general protection, registers:.zip
Odla Settantuno Posted May 26, 2024 Author Posted May 26, 2024 New updates: regarding audio, I had to make some tests by replacing the value of alcid=xxx. With the values of 1 and 11 the speakers work correctly but from the headphone output only distorted sound. Using the numerical value 12 on the other hand, both the headphone output and the speaker output work correctly. Now I am enjoying some music but later today I think I will also test the other values to find out if they can give improvements. 1
Odla Settantuno Posted June 24, 2024 Author Posted June 24, 2024 Hi, as promised I continued with the tests to get the best alcid=xxx for my Hackintosh. The value of 12 did not prove to be stable: occasionally, for no real ascertainable reason, the headphone output would generate distorted sound. Passing the sound over the pc speakers resulted in correct sound. I had to restart my Hachintosh to solve the problem. Values up to 16 always got only distorted output on the headphones. The value of 17 at the moment seems the best: measurements taken give a % dithering value lower than a 0.03, a signal-to-noise ratio better than 3db. Other news: my Hackintosh is correctly registered on Apple's app store ? for three weeks now without any problem using apps and cloud!!! Have a nice time.
