Enabling AHCI on Gigabyte Z690 UD AX DDR4

Recommended Posts

Hi

I cannot find a way to enable AHCI on my Gigabyte Z690 UD AX DDR4. The bios does show the SATA drive on which Sonoma is installed for this card and cpu; I can also see the usb installation drive in the bios but when I boot with F12 I end up on the Bios window. By the way I updated to the latest Bios version F28. I'm certainly missing a particuler bios setting.

When I enable CSM I can see my drives in the boot menu but they are not displayed as UEFI even though they are. With CSM disabled the UEFI drives just don't show up.

How do you enable AHCI on my motherboard?

Thanks

AHCI is default setting on this chipset.
