laudou Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 (edited) Hi I cannot find a way to enable AHCI on my Gigabyte Z690 UD AX DDR4. The bios does show the SATA drive on which Sonoma is installed for this card and cpu; I can also see the usb installation drive in the bios but when I boot with F12 I end up on the Bios window. By the way I updated to the latest Bios version F28. I'm certainly missing a particuler bios setting. When I enable CSM I can see my drives in the boot menu but they are not displayed as UEFI even though they are. With CSM disabled the UEFI drives just don't show up. How do you enable AHCI on my motherboard? Thanks Edited May 19, 2024 by laudou

laudou Posted May 20, 2024 Author Posted May 20, 2024 (edited) Thanks for your reply. Then why can I not see any SATA UEFI drive or usb install EFI drive? Can you take a look at my configurations?
