Stable graphics card for Yosemite?

Can someone please recommend a stable graphics card for Yosemite?

I'd like to buy a PC socket 1155, and it would install Yosemite, what configuration to buy? Otherwise, I do graphic design, so I need a good machine,

let's say Intel i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and what is most important graphics, which one to get Nvidia or ATI?

p.s. I would not want my system freezes after installation, as is the case with some Nvidia cards

This depends on whether you need

an excellent graphic performance,

so if you want to use for the tasks of everyday life

I suggest you a Nvidia Geforce GT640.

or even that I use GT620 otherwise a GTX650

or higher.

all are compatible with OSX.
