I have made hackintosh OpenCore for Asus rog strix gl753vd.I have made mostly all things working, but only one thing was not working, which is fn hot keys. So, there was a kext called AsusSMC, which allows fixing the fn hot keys. But the installation guide for the kext says that we need to patch the dsdt. when i try to patch the dsdt dumped from opencore acpidump.efi in maciasl app, then it shows the exact same error as in the screenshot I attached. Even directly trying to compile system dsdt in maciasl app gives those same errors. I tried to research about this errors but could not find any proper solution. Your help will be really appreciated.spacer.png

Okay. Also, after applying the patches, I have to save the dsdt file as .aml and paste it under my opencore ACPI folder and snapshot using propertree and check if the it’s working or not right?

I have tried but it didn’t worked. Am sure am doing something wrong. If it’s possible than can I share you my OC and you try to fix fn hot keys using AsusSMC kext? I have Asus Rog Strix GL753VD. Am trying to fix it myself from days but can’t get it working. The kext guide has installation instructions but it says we need patched dsdt. And yes, I don’t have ALS (ambient light sensor) in my device.
