Calmykoined Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 From what I gather, I will need elevated permissions to disable sip from terminal. I need access to a deceased family member's macbook pro, was hoping to dump his user.plist file and run it through hashcat. Anyone able to give me any insight? not an OSX guy. some stuff on that machine that my family and I would appreciate having. Looking for any way to dump the hash of the user account so that I can attempt to crack it. After the 2 hour phone phone I had with Apple, this might be quicker and less expensive than the legal route. Thanks in advance, and sorry if I'm asking a redundant question.
