thedeadfish59 Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 (edited) Hi All, am testing macOS Sonoma on i7 7700 + RX 570 + 16gigs DDR4 ram, B250m-d3h mobo + SATA ssd I have used prebuilt efi from olarila forum, thanks to the creator, pretty much all stuffs working, with few exceptions, like audio from HDMI I cannot control, also external wifi dongle support issues. But thats not a problem, i will fix it. Thing is, I find it kinda sluggish, like settings menu is slow, everything loading bit slower. So should I consider lower macOS for stable performance, or something to do with graphics card settings and stuffs to check and fix performance? I will casually use finalcut pro and some other stuffs, not professionally. Edited December 30, 2023 by thedeadfish59

Hi Again, I figured out some unsupported flags (non polaris stuffs) and anomalies later, fixed the lag! Its running perfect and smooth. One thing am struggling with is, iMessage and FaceTime, it works when am using iPhone USB Tethering, but not with USB Dongle am using with. Note that, my serial is invalid, generated correct smbios, and all steps. Ethernet is en0 ticked. I followed https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Post-Install/universal/iservices.html But didnt work, later I followed this, later I generated random mac address and changed ROM on plist, and it started working with USB wifi! But again, after a reboot, it again got broken (No sync) So I suspect, the issue is on mac address/rom, I tried using ethernet mac address from real mac mini, and set it on ROM (at config.plist), no luck. Any suggestions? Edited January 6, 2024 by thedeadfish59
