CichyCze Posted December 18, 2023 Posted December 18, 2023 Hi there! I tried to install MacOS 14.1.1 and didn't get past this error. I did everything, literally... Flashed the raw file, copied and pasted the EFI, reseted my UEFI, reseted the NVRAM... I also tried a bunch of things that I found on this forum and still here I am with the same error every time .-. Here are my specs if it helps: CPU: AMD Ryzon 5 3600 GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Motherboard: ASUS TUF B450-PRO GAMING I'm also kinda new into Hackintosh things so maybe I'm just missing something, idk. Anyway, I would really love to try this, so any help appreciated :3

CichyCze Posted December 19, 2023 Author Posted December 19, 2023 Sorry for the little bit late response. It's working, I even cloned the EFI partition from USB to SSD and downloaded the updates thanks to this tutorial How to update Opencore bootloader on Hackintosh - Easy and fast way so I'm running 14.2.1 atm. Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it ❤️ I was just wondering, is it somehow possible to make the system less laggy? Like, it's working fine and everything, but when there's too much graphical output like minimizing apps, opening videos, the whole system just freezes. It actually makes sense, it shows graphics in settings to be "Monitor 7 MB". Is there something I can do with that with my hardware?

Administrators MaLd0n Posted December 20, 2023 Administrators Posted December 20, 2023 Last is high sierra. CichyCze Posted December 20, 2023 Author Posted December 20, 2023 Oh, that's unfortunate ? I don't think it's worth buying a new gpu just to fool around in Hackintosh. Wouldn't be there any workaround for like the system to think there is some supported gpu or just somehow put the correct VRAM manually or something? Idk, I'm just trying to figure it out somehow, if it's possible.
Administrators MaLd0n Posted December 20, 2023 Administrators Posted December 20, 2023 U can try with OCLP -Guides and Tutorials HERE -Hackintosh Tutorial Database - HERE -The largest EFI folder collection for Hackintosh HERE -Support Olarila Vanilla Hackintosh by making a donation HERE -Professional Hackintosh Support since 2006 HERE
CichyCze Posted December 20, 2023 Author Posted December 20, 2023 Oh yeah, I did some research and found some Reddit posts where people are running Sonoma on GTX 1060 3GB. I was interested, found out OCLP exists, tried it aaaand now my screen is black on macOS bootup ? But nevermind, I will look into it later and do some tries and errors. What can go wrong, right? ? Anyway, thank you so much for your help and time, I really really appreciate it ❤️ Have a good one and Merry Christmas!
