Alfio Pittera Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 I tried the efi with Sequoia, in my case it remains blocked after choosing the language in the setup, I tried to change smbios in macbook16.3 since it is a laptop but nothing, I tried to add nvmefix.kext since it has an m2 and with this edit doesn't even make it to setup
Alfio Pittera Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Please, can anyone help me? I tried this efi again this time with macos "sonoma" before installing it, the setup seems to be fine except that if I try to activate nvmefix the verbose crashes even before verify the basesystem.dmg returning to the beginning as if it were restarting Many thanks to anyone who could give me a little hand or some advice
moishiteru Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 (edited) Hi Alfio, can you share your efi folder please? i have an Asus Vivobook with Ryzen 5 but after install (very very slow) i can not boot with efi folder EFI.AMD.Mobile.MOD but with EFI.OpenCore.Desktop.Bulldozer.Jaguar.Ryzen.Threadripper.MOD (i made the install with this EFI too) really frustrating for me i'm not an expert in hackintosh but i need help too Edited July 4, 2024 by moishiteru
Alfio Pittera Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 use EFI.AMD.Mobile.MOD and change it according to the cpu you have
