Neve Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 (edited) Hi everyone, I am sorry if this has been discussed before. This is my very first post. I have a brand new Gigabyte Z690 UD with a i9-12900K and an AMD Radeon RX-6600, along with some other supported PCI cards. I downloaded the Alder Lake EFI from this site. But after reading tons of online stuff (some of which are unclear and conflicting), I'm not sure that this will be optimised for my CPU. Then I saw here a "fully patched" DSDT .zip file that, if I understood correctly, is supposed to be exactly optimised for my configuration, correct? But I have absolutely no idea how to use it. What is the order of operation to install all this correctly, and for the "About This Mac" to display the correct CPU info? To the best of my abilities, I set up the BIOS, and the installer starts. But I'm not sure if it's tweaked correctly for best performances (cores and all...) Thank you greatly for your help. Edited September 8, 2023 by Neve
