jtss90 Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 Hi everybody! so i've been working with this assembly for 5-6 years now and it was great, dualbooting Sierra & Windows 10. Now I need to change a bit, upgrade to a late version but still have the chance to go to some legacy software on Mavericks. And have my Windows partition, also. Sounds a bit unachievable...I started by downloading the EFI folder for my CPU (KabyLake) and creating 2 USB sticks (Olarilla images for Maverick and Ventura). So far couldn't make it into almost nothing. Hope you can make it work for me. 1) MAVERICK: just can't boot the installer. As soon as I click on the icon in the opencore selection, error message be like "This version of MacOSX can't be installed on this computer". I tried editing the mac model (SMBIOS iMac 18.1/18.3), generating other serials, ... nothing changed. 2) VENTURA: macOS installer booted correctly, formatted SSD, when i click on "install Ventura", error message be like "macOS Ventura can't be installed because is damaged" or something like that. From where do you suggest to start? THANK YOU SO MUCH!
