Dr Stoppage Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 (edited) MSI Z97M Gaming Motherboard Intel Core i7 4790 4GHz 4th Gen 16Gb 1600 DDR3 RAM Sapphire Radeon 5500 XT Just updated my system that I built in 2015 to Monterey following a Youtube guide that uses the methods listed on this site. All went well and the machine works very well but I would like to remove the scrolling text that accompanies the start-up and shut-down routine. I think this is activated by the -v argument, how do I delete this? After a couple of days I got a Software Update message from Apple that a macOS Ventura Beta update was available, is it safe to update to this? and does my system actually support Ventura? Thanks for any help or advice. Edited April 28, 2023 by Dr Stoppage spelling mistake

Dr Stoppage Posted April 30, 2023 Author Posted April 30, 2023 Thanks but does this fix the verbose boot and shut-down question?
